Welcome to the
West Coast Dragon Boat Society

What we would like to convey to our potential dragon boat paddlers is:

How fun dragon boating is

How easy it is to participate, we supply the paddles and PFDs

How inexpensive dragon boating is considering the value of participation

We have teams for all levels of participation from recreational paddling to racing

How beautiful it is to be on Sproat Lake surrounded by mountains

The experience of being in a dragon boat community

The exhilaration of participating in racing regattas

A great way to exercise outdoors

Anyone can participate as we have paddlers from 18 to 93 years old

We are inclusive to men, woman, age and orientation

We are on the water several days a week at various times

How safe the sport is

How well run our organization is

We have certified, trained coaches available

We have certified steers people

Our boats have a capacity for 22 paddlers at a time, and we have 3 boats available

We practice Monday's from 6:15pm-7:30pm, Wednesday's from 9:15am-10:30am, and Thursday's from 6:15pm-7:30pm. Come out and paddle all 3 days or just once a week, its up to you!
